Register Established Religion
If you are an established religion and wish to register on the Register of Religions and become a member without using our template form religion then you will need to ascertain the status of your religion and you will need to provide us with the information below in order to undertake the relevant checks required for registration.
The fee for applying and processing an application will be £300 and if further information is required we will correspond with the nominated person regarding the application.
If the application is successful then the religion will become a member and be registered on the Register of Religions and you will then be charged a monthly fee of £75 to remain a member and maintain the religion on the Register of Religions.

Items needed for Registration
Evidence and copies of the corporate structure of your religion
This can be documents about the corporate structure of your religion and how it is organised.
Evidence and copies of the beliefs of your religion and how these beliefs are manifested
This can be documents about what you believe, or special texts and how your religion works
The name and contact details of the nominated person within your religion to correspond with regarding registration
This is the name of the person who we will correspond with. We require their name, and email address.
A copy of the terms and conditions of membership;
These are the rules of how your membership works with the Ministry of Religion. You will then be charged an annual fee of £79 each year to remain a member of the Ministry of Religion and maintain the religion on the Register of Religions.
For those with any form of religious belief you are invited to register your religion here on the Register of Religions. Once a religion has been registered here it will be issued with a Certificate of Registration and assigned a unique Religion Reference number recognising its registration here within the United Kingdom and membership continues on an annual basis.
